Our Network Partners
Our network is comprised of eight different partners.
La Unión del Pueblo Entero (LUPE) is rooted in the belief that members of the low-income community have the responsibility and the obligation to organize themselves, and through their association, begin to advocate and articulate for the issues and factors that impact their lives.
A Resource in Serving Equality (ARISE) aids communities by helping residents identify life goals and providing resources to help them reach those goals on their own. "ARISE does not do for the people what the people can do for themselves."
Texas Civil Rights Project
The mission of the Texas Civil Rights Project (TCRP) is to promote racial, social, and economic justice through litigation, education, and social services for low/moderate-income persons least able to defend themselves.
Fuerza del Valle
Fuerza’s mission is to help workers discover their power and create solutions to the problems they experience at work. We are a mobile center so that we can reach out to workers across the Valley’s vast geographic area.
The mission of Proyecto Azteca, rooted in the hope of creating a more equitable society, is to build healthy and thriving communities by assisting low and very low income families, traditionally denied home ownership opportunities, with the construction of quality affordable houses, and empowering them to become responsible home owners with an enhanced quality of life.
Proyecto Juan Deigo
Proyecto Juan Diego’s mission is to empower low-income families to be healthy and self-sufficient community members through educational programs, family activities and preventative health services.
The principal mission of the Brownsville Community Health Center (BCHC) is to provide quality comprehensive primary health care services with excellence and dignity to the residents of Brownsville and southern Cameron County in Texas.
ACLU of Texas
The American Civil Liberties Union of Texas works in the courts, the legislature, and through public education to protect civil rights and individual liberty.
