We are focused on improving the quality of life for historically disenfranchised groups in the Rio Grande Valley.
As a border community, we see how issues of immigration and border policy impact every sector of our lives. We work for intersectional reform of housing, health care, the labor force, and education, bearing in mind the specific challenges that immigrants and mixed status families can encounter in these sectors.
We believe in positioning the community as leaders in our work for justice and equity. We engage our community in our work for reform by building grassroots leadership and positioning local residents as leaders in the process of effecting change on a local, state, and federal level.
